Tuckerman's Ravine, NH

from 18.00

This is a signed, limited edition, hand-made screen print in the style of of a vintage-style ski poster. This print captures Tuckerman's Ravine, on Mt. Washington in New Hampshire. This design imagines a legendary race from 1939. The "American Inferno" race was a top to bottom descent of Mt. Washington through Tuckerman's Ravine. In 1939, an Austrian skier, Toni Matt, blasted over the headwall of the ravine, in a legendary moment in ski history, reaching speeds exceeding 85 mph. Illustrated and hand-printed by Rusty.

The FRAMED OPTION includes a hand-made, real wood frame with a weathered, whitewashed finish. We custom-designed this style to look great with our screen prints and each frame is hand-made, painted and finished for a truly unique look with natural woodgrains and imperfections. Made in America. Prints ship framed, with glass and hanging wire. (See the image product image gallery for photos of the frame—note that each frame is unique and may differ from the example shown.)
