The Salem Open Market is brought to you by the folks from the nationally recognized SoWa Open Market. We know a bit about bringing the best independent designers, artisans, artists and crafters together in a maelstrom of cutting edge design, art and handmade wares.

Historic Salem is famous for its maritime traditions, architecture and museums, but it is the Salem Witch Trials of 1692 and the love of all things Halloween that really put it on the map. Celebrating its 32nd year, Haunted Happenings is a month-long festival featuring dozens of special events and programs. The Salem Open Market is a great addition to the roster, bringing together the area’s most talented indie craftspeople and designers in an open air market setting. Visitors can browse over 50 booths to shop for unusual handmade products from local artists and designers.
