Our New Print Collection 2023

June 2023

We have just released our first batch of twenty new designs, and we are so proud of the work. We’d love for you to check them out. For those of you who have known our work, you will find a familiar yet refreshed Rusty & Ingrid style.

Handmade Quality

You will find the same fine art quality that we have always offered with original, hand-drawn designs that we print in our studio, one color at a time, which are hand-signed, and can be framed in our own handcrafted frames.

New England

The new work still celebrates our love for New England, with places and themes that are close to home.

Color

Color has always been a core element of our style (and, by the way, this whole “new vision”, began with our quest to tame our overflowing color library). We selected the best of our own hand-mixed ink colors from the past ten years to create a familiar yet refined palette. All of the new designs will pair well together and look good with our older work that you may have collected.

You might notice that many of our prints have even more ink colors than before, with most of new designs ranging from 4 to 6 ink colors.

New Ideas

With this new start, we are really excited to try some new ideas, and you might notice some fun new looks in the collection. For example, beaches with people!

But in general, we are working toward a more personal point of view in the scenes, to invite you into the world we depict.

Revisiting our Classics

We are equally excited to reimagine some of our most well-loved themes. We are bringing back some of our long sold-out print designs in completely new and redrawn designs that honor where we’ve come from, but also look to the future.

Inspiration

You might notice that we are keeping some designs from the previous collection (which we have recently archived). These are designs that we have made recently, that fit in with the new style, and in some cases have inspired the new style in some way.

More to come

We will be releasing new screen print designs in the coming weeks (and we’ll be sharing some other creative work as well). You can see all the new work here on our web site or follow us on Instagram @rustyandingrid

Thank you!
